The Siena Heights women's soccer team was rated third on the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll as announced by the league.

 

SHU rates behind top-rated Northwestern Ohio and WHAC defending champ Aquinas. SHU, UNOH and Aquinas all received first-place votes.

 

Last year, Siena Heights ended with a 13-2-4 record while going 9-1-2 in conference play. SHU returns a two of All-WHAC honorees: two-time First Team player Parker Cheney (2023 WHAC Midfielder of the Year) and 2024 All-Newcomer Team player Sarah DeWeese.

 

Siena Heights is set to open its season at home on Aug. 23 when Olivet Nazarene visits for a 5 p.m. start. SHU's first WHAC contest is a Sept. 20 home date against Defiance.
