MARION, Ind. -- Siena Heights women's long jumper Linnearia Richards earned All-America honors on Tuesday, placing runner-up during day-one action at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Richards distanced 19 feet, 1 1/2 inches (5.83 meters), finishing only a half-inch behind Rosjai Curtis from Park (19-2, 5.84m).

Richards also placed 26th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.65.

SHU's 4x100 relay team placed 19th with a time of 47.70 seconds. Team members were Faith Jackson, Richards, Terria Fisher and Jenna-Ann Johnson.
