Conrad Runner-Up, Stewart Seventh in Pole Vault on Day Two of NAIA Outdoor Championships

MARION, Ind. -- Siena Heights pole vaulter Margherita Conrad finished runner-up and teammate Emma Stewart tied for seventh as both claimed All-America honors on day two Thursday at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Conrad cleared 12 feet, 11 1/2 inches (3.95 meters) and lost a jumpoff for the national championship to British Columbia's Sonya Urbanowicz, who had a 13-1 1/2 (4.00m).

Stewart's height was 11-11 3/4 (3.65m).

Faith Jackson qualified for the finals of the 100-meter hurdles with a preliminary time of 14.09 seconds.

Linnearia Richards, Terria Fisher, Brooke Sharp and Jenna-Ann Johnson teamed for 20th in the 4x400 relay.
