ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Siena Heights women's pole vaulter Emma Stewart finished third for All-America honors during opening-day competition on Wednesday for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at North Carolina-Asheville.

Stewart, the reigning indoor national champ, had a height of 12 feet, 8 3/4 inches (3.88 meters).

Sprinter Jenna-Ann Johnson also competed Wednesday during the 200-meter preliminaries. She clocked in at 24.37 seconds to place 17th.
