ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over Michigan-Dearborn on a busy Saturday afternoon at Siena Heights University. Aubrey Bates led the way with 32 assists to pace the SHU attack in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Siena Heights jumped out to a big 10-3 lead in the first set and never looked back to take a 1-0 lead with the 25-19 decision.
The Saints increased the gap in scoring in the next two sets on the way to the 3-0, sweep. In set two, Siena built a 20-12 lead on the way to the 25-16 win and the 2-0 lead.
The Third was much the same, except the Saints were able to achieve the double-digit lead late in the game for the 12-point win to take the match.
TOP SAINTS
• Samantha Getson finished with a team-high nine kills (.263). She also tied for a team-high four service aces.
• Kadie Carsten had eight kills and five digs.
• Aubrey Bates added four service aces to her totals.
• Karsyn Wolf led on defense with seven digs.
THE OPPOSITION
• Kielee Tondryk led the Wolverines with six kills.
• Sabrina Giacomini was the team's main setter with 10 assists.
• Kenzie Mertz led on the defensive side with eight digs.
