ADRIAN, Mich. – Siena Heights freshman Devyne Eisenhauer earned the title Newcomer of the Year at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) awards. Eisenhauer along with Aubrey Bates and Olivia Norman also claimed positions on the All-WHAC Frist-Team roster. SHU claimed at least one award in every category on the annual awards list totaling 13 honors.
Along with receiving Newcomer of the Year, Eisenhauer also made first-team All-WHAC along with Olivia Norman and Aubrey Bates. In addition, Kinsey Wagner was named to the second-team All-WHAC.
Karsyn Wolf was the Saints representative on the Champions of Character team and earned a place on the all-academic list. Kadie Carsten, Kinsey Wagner, Olivia Norma, and Victoria Nerkowski were also on the all-academic team for the Saints.
Eisenhauer had an outstanding college debut totaling 325 kills and 360 digs and counting. Bates reached yet another milestone during her junior year reaching 2,500 assists in her career. Bates is currently ranked 14th in the NAIA leaderboard for the most assists per set with an average of 10.09. Norman once again made her presence known on the court breaking all of her previous records. The sophomore currently holds 269 kills on top of 121 blocks. Wagner has had a tremendous year putting up 77 blocks and collecting 243 kills. The four award winners are also Siena Heights leading scorers totaling 945 kills between them.
