The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Women's Wrestling 2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Saints had four student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Lillian Ruesink (2nd time), senior, environmental science from Three Rivers, Michigan
Alexus Shaneyfelt (2nd time), junior, education major from Liberty Center, Ohio
Cadence Wallace (2nd time), junior, social work major and behavioral science minor from Port Clinton, Ohio
Phoenix Waters (3rd time), senior, secondary education major from Manchester, Michigan
