DEXTER, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's cross country team opened its season on Friday at the Michigan Open.
Cora Liu led the Saints, finishing in 36th place out of 50 total runners. Liu ran the 5-kilometer course in 19 minutes and 42 seconds.
The Saints competed against three other schools: Akron, Bowling Green, and Michigan. Siena Heights finished in fourth.
Siena Heights will return to competition next Friday at the Tiffelberg Open in Tiffin, Ohio.
