EAST LANSING, Mich. -- On Friday, the Siena Heights women's cross country team participated in the Spartan Invitational at Michigan State.
Haley Bell led the Saints, finishing in 144th place out of 269 runners. Bell ran the 6-kilometer course in 23 minutes and 53 seconds.
Siena Heights faced some major opponents, competing against schools like Purdue, Rutgers, Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan, and Michigan State. As a team, out of the 17 teams that participated, the Saints took 16th place.
Siena Heights will return to action on Friday, Sept. 26, as it hosts the final Siena Heights Invitational.
