Emma Valentine will be remembered as the most decorated high jumper in Siena Heights University history. Over the course of her career, Valentine earned an extraordinary eight NAIA All-American honors, achieving All-American status in every season she competed.
Valentine reached the pinnacle of collegiate competition by capturing back-to-back NAIA National Championships. She claimed her first national title at the 2023–24 NAIA Indoor National Championship with a jump of 1.77 meters, and followed it with a school-record performance of 1.80 meters to win the 2024–25 NAIA Indoor National Championship.
In addition to her national titles, Valentine consistently finished among the nation’s elite. Her All-American performances include: 2nd place – 2026 NAIA Outdoor Championship (1.76m), 3rd place – 2022–23 NAIA Indoor Championship (1.70m), 3rd place – 2025 NAIA Outdoor Championship (1.72m), 4th place – 2025–26 NAIA Indoor Championship (1.69m), 7th place – 2023 NAIA Outdoor Championship (1.68m) and 8th place – 2024 NAIA Outdoor Championship (1.68m).
Valentine also played a key role in Siena Heights’ team success, helping lead the Saints to three top-10 finishes at NAIA National Championship meets, including: 7th place – 2025 Outdoor Championship, 8th place – 2024–25 Indoor Championship, and 10th place – 2022–23 Indoor Championship.
At the conference level, Valentine was equally dominant. She captured five WHAC titles and finished as runner-up in the other three WHAC Championship meets during her career, demonstrating unmatched consistency.
She currently holds the Siena Heights indoor high jump school record (1.80 meters), set during her national championship performance.
Valentine’s excellence extended beyond competition, as she was named a six-time WHAC All-Academic Team honoree, highlighting her commitment to success both on the field and in the classroom.
Emma Valentine’s career is defined by national titles, record-setting achievements, and sustained excellence, cementing her legacy as one of the greatest student-athletes in Siena Heights history.
