LANSING, Mich. — The Siena Heights men's basketball team earned its first WHAC victory, grinding out a 71-66 win over Cleary on Saturday.

The Saints (3-6, 1-5 WHAC) leaned on balanced scoring and clutch free throws down the stretch to snap a five-game league skid.

Jack Olis delivered a career-high 22 points off the bench, hitting 10 of 13 from the line and. Joshua Wilson added 17 points and three assists, while Jonas Tester chipped in 12 points.

Siena Heights shot 51.2% from the field and converted 23 of 30 free throws, including six in the final 30 seconds to fend off Cleary's late surge. The Saints led 35-30 at halftime and pushed the margin to nine midway through the second half before the Cougars closed within two in the final minute.
