DEARBORN, Mich. — The Siena Heightsmen's basketball team shot a blistering 62.5% from the field and got five players in double figures to outlast UM‑Dearborn 107–103 in a high‑tempo WHAC matchup Saturday.
Nick Sobush poured in a team‑high 26 points on near‑perfect shooting (8 of 9 FG, 9 of 10 FT) while adding five assists to lead the Saints' efficient offensive attack. Jonas Tester added 21 points and six rebounds, and Jack Olis delivered 22 points—8 of 9 at the line.
Siena Heights built a 54–48 halftime lead behind 63.6% first‑half shooting and maintained control for much of the second half, leading by as many as 10. UM‑Dearborn repeatedly closed the gap, pulling within a single possession several times in the final minutes, but SHU answered each push. Sobush's late three‑point play with 1:13 remaining extended the Saints' lead to 103–99, and Alex McCoy's two clutch free throws with 20 seconds left made it 105–101. SHU sealed it at the stripe from there.
