MIDLAND, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team defeated Northwood, 22-1, in a Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association North Division contest on Friday, snapping the Saints' four-game losing streak.
Brennen Gohr had four goals and one assist for SHU (2-4) while Benjamin Lama had a six-point night, finishing with three goals and three assists.
Also, Tom Kreitzer finished with three goals and two assists, Adam Keay had three goals and one assist, and John Holowaty compiled two goals and three assists.
Blake Mielcarek added two goals and one assist and Nick Lyons tallied two goals. Single goals were put in by Nate Woods, Kyle Kline and James Thomas Lauria. Michael Bromley made one assist.
In net, winning goaltender Ryan Mailloux stopped eight shots. Cody Ross added one save.
The Saints scored one goal in the first quarter and then nine in the second to take a 10-0 lead into halftime. SHU led 18-1 through three periods.
Siena Heights will be back in action on Sunday with a 4 p.m. home CCLA North matchup against Oakland.
