ADRIAN, Mich. — The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team opened its 2026 season Sunday morning, falling 19–8 to St. Ambrose (Iowa) in a nonconference matchup at High Velocity Sports.
The Saints were led offensively by Gio Marino, who finished with two goals and two assists. Sean Jablonski added two goals and an assist, while Joey Keck scored twice, including a man‑up goal early in the fourth quarter. Noah Hassenrik recorded a goal and two assists, and Marco Papadelis rounded out the scoring for Siena Heights.
In goal, Alyx Walker played the full 60 minutes and made 14 saves.
Defensively, Braden Conn led Siena Heights with seven ground balls. Zak Bledsoe paced the team with two caused turnovers.
