Women's Soccer Ends Regular Season Dominating Defiance

DEFIANCE, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team ended regular season play rolling to a 6-0 victory over WHAC conference opponent Defiance on Saturday. 

Lily Tiplady led the way with two goals and one assist, while Sarah Ammon, Maddi Daugherty, Parker Cheney, and Cassie McNatt all scored single goals. 

Tallying assists for the Saints were Lily Tiplady, Sarah Ammon, Cassie McNatt, Maddie Morris, and Parker Cheney

The Saints' defense was stifling, as Defiance only recorded one shot on goal. 

Ammon, Tiplady, and Daugherty all had first-half goals for the Saints, who took a 3-0 lead at halftime and had the same number of goals in the second half. Tiplady assisted Ammon in the 10th minute, Ammon assisted Tiplady in the 18th minute, and McNatt assisted Daugherty in the 39th minute. 

During the second half, the Saints pulled away with goals from Cheney, Tiplady, and McNatt. Morris assisted on Cheney's goal in the 55th minute, and Cheney assisted on Tiplady's goal in the 57th minute. The final goal scored by McNatt was unassisted in the 64th minute. 

The Saints will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 6, as they will await their next opponent in the WHAC tournament.
