Five SHU Softball Athletes Named in WHAC Honors
May 18, 2020The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the 2020 softball awards on Tuesday (May 19). Jordan Bianchi (Senior/Shelby Township, Mich.), Taylor Mowery (Senior/Fenton, Mich.), Erika Schwartz (Senior/Rapid River, Mich.), and Lauren Valdez (Senior/Clayton, Mich.) were listed on the All-Academic squad. Maddy Luebke (Freshman/Celina, Ohio) was the team's representative on the Champions of Character team. -

Saints Finish Florida Trip 6-6 After Wins Over Saint Francis (Ind.) and Hannibal-LaGrange
March 06, 2020KISSIMMEE, FLA. -- The Siena Heights softball team added two wins on the final day in Florida. The Saints started the day with an 11-3 win over Saint Francis (Ind.) in six innings before a 4-0 win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Hayley Turk (Clinton, Mich.) led the Saints at the plate going 5-for-7 with three RBIs. -
Saints Fall To Spring Arbor and Marian

Saints Split During Another Day in Florida
March 04, 2020KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Siena Heights softball team split the two games played today in Florida. The first game was a 9-7 loss at the hands of Webber International, the second an 8-1 win over Bethel (Ind.). Kiley Elbaor (Highland, Mich.) earned the win in game two to improve her record as a pitcher to 3-1. She pitched all seven innings and allowed only three hits and one run while striking out four batters. -

March 01, 2020KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Siena Heights softball team split the games on day two of the Florida trip. The Saints began the day with a 7-6 loss to Florida National before picking up a 2-1 win over Briar Cliff. Kristi Carlson (Macomb, Mich.) again led the Saints at the plate going 4-for-7 for the day. -
Softball Kicks Off 2020 Season in Florida
February 29, 2020KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Siena Heights softball team dropped a pair of one-run decisions in the team's first two games of the 2020 campaign. The first game was a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Saints came up short in a seventh-inning rally in a 6-5 loss against Saint Thomas (Fla.) to end the day. Kristi Carlson (Macomb, Mich.) finished 4-for-7 at the plate while scoring two runs and batting another in. She was the only SHU player to record a hit in both games. -

September 23, 2019ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team will be honored during halftime of the Siena Heights football game this Saturday, September 28. The Saints were crowned the 2019 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) softball tournament champions last May after three-straight victories in the WHAC tournament. -
