ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team went 3-0 during the debut weekend of head coach Corey Ness at SHU's own Labor Day Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Fieldhouse.
Jessica Holsapple was Defensive MVP of the Invitational. Devyne Eisenhauer was also named to the All-Invitational Team.
The Saints will return to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. WHAC home match against Aquinas.
Siena Heights 3, Trinity Christian 0 (SHU 25-16, 25-21, 25-22)
Eisenhauer had nine kills while Kate Noe put down eight. Courtney Johnson and Mallory Johnson finished with 14 and 11 assists, respectively.
Ella Swoish hammered five aces from the back line while Anna Bourbeau hit three aces.
Holsapple totaled seven digs.
Siena Heights 3, Olivet Nazarene 0 (SHU 25-16, 25-23, 25-22)
Eisenhauer compiled seven kills and five aces for the Saints. Noe added 12 kills to the offense.
Bianca Hobson had seven kills and four total blocks.
In the assists department, Courtney Johnson had 16 and Mallory Johnson made 11. Mallory Johnson also had 10 digs.
Siena Heights 3, Calumet 0 (SHU 25-15, 25-16, 25-13)
Hobson and Eisenhauer had 11 kills apiece while Sarai Villegas put down nine.
Mallory Johnson set 22 assists, Courtney Johnson made 15 assists and Holsapple finished with 17 digs.
